Party Time

Costume parties are really popular in New Zealand. During my four months here I have been to at least five of them, and oftentimes you'll be out at the pub minding your own business when suddenly an entire team of farm animals or superheroes barges through the door. How cool is that? People typically put a lot of effort into their outfits, and wearing a costume somehow seems to facilitate heavy drinking, so these parties are usually super fun.
